Using Advanced Methods

Once you've mastered the basics, you can delve into Chromosome Mapping (aka DNA triangulation), X-DNA analysis, and Y-chromosome and/or mtDNA testing.

Chromosome mapping

Writing a tutorial on this would be very involved and isn't something I've had time for yet, so for the time being, I am linking you to ISOGG Wiki, which has a great explanation as well as several top-notch resources: http://isogg.org/wiki/Chromosome_mapping

X-DNA analysis

Writing a tutorial on X-DNA isn't something I've had time for yet, so for the time being, I am linking you to a blog by DNAeXplained on this topic: https://dna-explained.com/2012/09/27/x-marks-the-spot/
